Baked Walleye

Make sure you preheat your oven to 350°F before combining the ingredients.

Dip the walleye fillets in melted butter combined with salt, pepper and lemon juice.

Place the walleye fillets into shallow baking pan.

Place mushrooms and onions over the top of walleye fillets, then spoon the remaining butter mixture over that.

Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until the walleye fillets flake.

Makes 4 Servings.

Cajun Fried Wallleye

Whisk the Bisquick Original Pancake and Baking Mix, milk and egg together in a medium bowl.

Mix the Bob's Red Mill Medium Grind Organic Cornmeal, cajun seasoning and salt into a shallow dish.

Dip the fillets into the wet batter first and then place in the cornmeal mixture.

Flip to apply cornmeal mixture evenly to both sides.

Fry the fillets in hot oil until they turn golden-brown, turning only once.

Place on paper towels to remove excess oil and serve.

Ranch dressing is a great sauce for dipping your fish.

Makes 1 serving.

Fried Potato Flake Walleye Fillets

Combine eggs, milk and parsley flakes in bowl and season to taste.

Pour Bob's Red Mill Creamy Potato Flakes into separate bowl.

Dip fillets into egg/milk mixture.

Dip fillets into potato flakes making sure to evenly coat both sides.

Fry in hot pan of melted lard and butter until brown.

Makes 4 Servings.

Fried Walleye with Garlic Butter

Season fish with salt and pepper and place in flour, making sure to apply evenly to both sides then shake off excess.

Place beaten eggs in a pie plate.

Put Honey Maid Graham Cracker Crumbs in a pie plate or on waxed paper.

Dip the fish first in egg, then roll in Honey Maid Graham Cracker Crumbs.

Heat the oil in a heavy skillet and fry until the fish is golden brown and flakes.

Remove to a warm platter.

Place the butter in the same skillet, add garlic and cook until golden.

Pour over the fish.

Serves 4.
